Our patent application has been approved!
The patent titled "Logic Light Emitting Device Based on Hot Electron Surface Emission", developed with the contributions of Nano-Optoelectronics Research Group members Dr. Selman Mutlu and Prof. Dr. Ayşe Erol, has been registered by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office. The invention described in the patent has the potential to offer an alternative to “light-emitting device technologies” with its ability to emit blue light regardless of the polarity of the applied voltage. In addition to our group members, Prof. Dr. Engin Tıraş from Eskişehir Technical University is also among the inventors of the patented technology and contributed to the development of the invention through collaboration.
